In-Home Training | $330
If you’re not sure where to start with training your dog, this is it!
You might be right at the beginning with a new addition and hoping for a great start. You might need some guidance with basics like recall and lead walking, or be struggling with a nervy or reactive dog, or struggling to train around anything that’s not nothing! Whatever it is, we will come to you and listen and see what is currently happening. We will formulate a written plan with you and show you how to manage and train good behaviours through positive, rewards based training. Our focus is then guiding you through to success.
*this is a minimum three session service. Prices includes three initial sessions, written notes, email support throughout, admin and travel

Trainer Only Training | $570**
You might be thinking your dogs behaviours are a bit out of your depth. Or maybe you don’t feel like you have the time or skills to get the training underway yourself. Pawsitive Behaviours offer ‘trainer only training’, where we do our job and train your dog! After an initial consult, including history taking, information gathering and goal setting, we will take your dog out and about over 4x weekly sessions*. We will begin the training process by laying the foundational work and finding out what makes your dog tick. We will begin to proof new, positive behaviours in desired environments and formulate a written plan to update you each week. During the transfer session we will go through what has been done during the trainer only sessions and coach you to continue the training at home
Prices include 1x initial 60 min initial consult/history taking session, 4x trainer only sessions, 1x 60 min transfer session with you, email support through the process, admin and travel
*Additional trainer only or transfer sessions – $90 each
**For existing clients that Sophie or Sarah know well already the cost will be less the $120 initial consult fee
Puppy Socialisation | $460 incl GST
Here at Pawsitive Behaviours, we are SO passionate about setting puppies up for success right from day dot. Many people have no idea how crucial the 3-16 week old age bracket is and how much it can influence the behaviours the dog is going to produce as an adult. If you don’t have the time or confidence to get your pup out to see the world, (safely!), then we are here and willing to help. As well as starting basic training, we will safely take your puppy on outings to local pet stores, the beach, to see other animals, cars, bikes, people and other vaccinated dogs, to help your pup be confident and resilient in our human world.
Package includes:
1x 10 min meet and greet
4x trainer only sessions/outings
1x 30 min in-home consult at the end
1x round of Puppy Play and Train (optional, additional $180)
This package is exclusively for pups 12-16 weeks old, (or have had their 2nd vaccination). There are only two spots available at a time and a level of commitment is required.
Walk & Train | $300 per block of 4
As a follow on from In-Home, Trainer Only and/or Puppy Socialisation, we offer ongoing Walk & Train. These 60 minute sessions are for continuing the training already established and laid out in your training plan. That way, there is further consistency and ongoing follow up training
Blocks of 4 Walk & Trains are booked at a time and are Trainer Only style, held either weekly or fortnightly. A brief update will be provided either in person at the end of the session or via email
